VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER

Since opening its doors in 2013, the DFFAF Vocational Training Center in Aleltu, Ethiopia provides specialized curricula with 1-2 year, certified programs for students 16-24 years old in textile design and creation, weaving, computer training and the necessary skills to begin a personal business.

All necessary fees to attend and complete the training programs are fully covered by DFFAF.  We are currently researching for a second training center location.

Our Impact

INDEPENDENCE FOR WOMEN WITH HIV

In 2018, DFFAF began creating resilience for women affected by HIV and AIDS by improving the quality of their lives through building knowledge, skills, assets, capabilities, and financial conditions.

Additionally, DFFAF is helping children of these women attend school by fulfilling their major needs for education and assisting unemployed or underemployed family members of these women by giving them access to employment opportunities.
